A route is a sequence of an unlimited number of stops for a specific category of transport (passengers, parcels, etc.) For maximum flexibility when setting up the prices and schedule for each stop, you will need to configure a route for each direction (outbound / inbound) and category of transport. Also, one route can only have one currency for the prices definition.
The clever way to define a stop inside a route allows you to precisely set-up the areas you cover without listing potential hundreds of city names and customers being confused about your offering. Using Google Maps data structure, a stop can be defined as a City or as a County or even as a Country if you have 100% coverage. The intelligence behind the search functionality will look at all levels when a customer will search for a specific city or town.
Features routes are the routes that, based on you level of subscription, will get a specific tag that will make these routes to stand out. These routes have a red & yellow card border, will be displayed in the Featured routes carousels on the home page and will have top listing in the search results.
The ribbon is a strip of suggestive text on a coloured background that will appear on the route display card. it can have text like: Best Price, Best Value, Premium, Express, etc. These ribbons are visible everywhere the route card is displayed: in routes carousels, search results, route page etc.
